Pilates Reformer Circuit
This is the Pura Vida foundational class with Reformer, Mat and Cadillac apparatus as well as other auxiliary, like Barrels, to build technique and progress in coordination, strength, flexibility and strength. Over all posture and body mechanics will improve. Pilates Circuit reinforces technique learned in private sessions and classes. What is learned can readily apply to any form of exercise or class at Pura Vida. Pilates Circuit is required before entry into higher level Reformer or Apparatus classes to ensure progression and technique.

Pilates Discovery
Pura Vida offers six week Pilates courses scheduled quarterly throughout the year. Courses introduce the foundational techniques on the mat and reformer, as well as exercises on other Pilates apparatus for a comprehensive experience. While designed for a small group of four individuals for effective group instruction, some individualization per members' need is given.
Pilates Jump & Stretch
Experience Joseph Pilates‘ dynamic standing floor work and unique plyometric sequences on the Reformer, utilizing a unique attachment specifically designed for jumping. A great end-of-the-day stress reliever. A release of endorphins leaves you uplifted and light. Please, healthy knees and backs only. Three to six private sessions or participation in Discovery required for class entry.
Pilates Mat Fusion
This class follows the traditional floor sequence originated by Joseph Pilates with variations utilizing props to intensify movements, ensure alignment, work the trunk and core effectively and for safety. Work from floor and progress to standing sequences for functional application developing the three C’s: core, coordination and control.
Pilates Mat Tower
The traditional mat sequence executed with the support of the Pilates apparatus, Tower. It has springs to assist and support in all ranges of motion, allowing you to accomplish more than you could without the device. This class develops a strong back and deep abdominal control creating a leaned out torso and toned legs and arms. Expect to bend, stretch and move in ways you never dreamed. Three to six private sessions or participation in Discovery required for class entry. Four participants only, sign up required beforehand.
Pilates Open Gym
Open Gym is designed for results, pure and simple. It’s for the dedicated individual who wants the benefits of doing Pilates, the ultimate in a mind-body-spirit system. Pilates called his method Contrology indicating a regime of control requiring concentration and focus. In Open Gym you pull your program, which has been learned previously, and execute it while being coached and supported. Open Gym has a maximum of 12 members at one time working out together, building camaraderie and personal fitness. Equipment availability is based on a first come, first serve basis. An instructor rotates the room providing feedback, teaching new exercises and assisting in safety and equipment set up. This is part of your membership, exclusively offered at Pura Vida.

PurFit Pilates
PurFit Pilates is a cardio/strength interval class that will improve endurance, increase core strength and coordination, and maximize calorie burning-all while focusing on correct body alignment and jumping technique. This high-energy class is best suited for students who are injury-free, and in good condition. No prior Pilates experience necessary.
Pilates Reformer II
Dynamic flowing intermediate Reformer sequence instructed building endurance and strength. It’s like taking a vigorous walk leaving you fresh and ready for what meets the day. Auxiliary exercises included at the end of class for additional challenge, alignment, variety and fun.
Prerequisite: Approval upon evaluation by Pilates instructor. Confidence and a solid knowledge base are required for safety and maintaining class level so optimal results can be realized.
